By accessing or using Instabill, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Aver Media Ltd, the entity responsible for operating Instabill and handling user information. “Service” refers to the Instabill application, website, APIs, and all related services provided by Aver Media Ltd. “User” refers to any individual or organisation that accesses or uses the Service.

We collect information when users create an account, complete transactions, interact with the Service, contact customer support, or otherwise use Instabill. The information collected may include your full name, username, phone number, email address, password, date of birth, residential address, National Identification Number (NIN), Bank Verification Number (BVN), bank account details, payment information, transaction records, device information, IP address, browser information, and customer support communications.
We may also collect technical and usage-related information such as app version, operating system version, crash reports, performance analytics, and push notification tokens. This information helps us improve the stability, functionality, security, and overall performance of the Service.
Instabill does not collect users’ contact lists, social media handles, public profile information, facial recognition data, biometric verification images, or precise location data.
To provide certain features within the app, Instabill may request limited access to your device. This may include permission to access your camera, photo gallery, or files for the purpose of uploading images, receipts, verification documents, or related materials directly through the app.
These permissions are optional and may be disabled through your device settings at any time. However, disabling certain permissions may affect the availability or functionality of some features within the Service.
Instabill does not request or harvest contact lists from users’ devices.
The information we collect is used to operate, maintain, improve, and secure Instabill. We use user information to create and manage accounts, process transactions, verify identities, meet Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-fraud compliance obligations, provide customer support, and improve user experience.
We may also use collected information to monitor app performance, troubleshoot technical issues, send notifications and transaction alerts, detect suspicious activities, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We may also cooperate with law enforcement agencies, regulators, and fraud prevention organisations where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to investigate suspected fraud, money laundering, identity theft, cybercrime, scams, unauthorised access, abuse of the platform, financial crime, or other unlawful or malicious activities, provided such disclosure is permitted under applicable law.
Aver Media Ltd shall not be liable for disclosures made in good faith and in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory obligations.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing transaction, sale of assets, bankruptcy, dissolution, or transfer of ownership involving Aver Media Ltd, user information may be transferred as part of the transaction where permitted by applicable law. By using Instabill, you consent to such transfers.
Users may delete their Instabill account directly from the profile section within the app. Once an account deletion request is submitted, access to the account may be disabled or permanently removed.
Certain information may nevertheless be retained where required for legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, or compliance purposes. Deleted accounts may not always be recoverable.
By providing your email address or phone number, you consent to receive transaction alerts, security notifications, login verification codes, service announcements, and other important account-related communications from Instabill.
We may also send occasional updates relating to products, features, or services where permitted by applicable law. Users may opt out of non-essential promotional communications where applicable.
Instabill may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain secure sessions, remember user preferences, improve functionality, analyse usage trends, enhance security, and support fraud detection measures.
Users may disable cookies through their browser settings, although certain features of the Service may become unavailable or function improperly as a result.
We retain user information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain operational records, detect and prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and financial obligations.
Where information is no longer required, we may securely delete, anonymise, or archive it in accordance with applicable laws and internal retention policies.

Instabill may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Aver Media Ltd. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of such third-party services, and users interact with them at their own discretion and risk.
Instabill is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that information belonging to a child has been collected without appropriate authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes become effective immediately upon posting the updated version within the Service or on our website. Continued use of Instabill after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
